How to turn photos into a PDF on your phone
Administrations, schools and banks often ask for a single PDF, while what you have is a handful of photos taken with your phone. You do not need a scanner app: your phone's browser can put the photos together into one PDF.
Images to PDFFrom photos to one PDF
- Take a photo of each page in good light, holding the phone flat above the sheet.
- Open the Images to PDF tool in your phone's browser and tap the upload area to pick the photos from your gallery.
- Drag the photos into the right order.
- Choose a page size: A4 for official documents, or Fit to Image to keep each photo's own shape.
- Tap Create PDF and save the file.
Getting pages that are easy to read
Use daylight or a bright lamp and avoid the flash, which leaves a white patch on glossy paper. Put the sheet on a dark, plain surface so the edges are clear.
Photos taken with the phone upright keep their orientation in the PDF. If a page still comes out sideways, turn it afterwards with Rotate PDF.
If the PDF is too heavy to send
Phone photos are large, so a ten-page PDF can reach 30 MB. Run the result through Compress PDF: scanned pages usually shrink by more than half without becoming hard to read.
Free, no sign-up and no watermark. Your file is processed in memory and never stored.
