How to extract pages from a PDF
You rarely need all sixty pages of a report. Maybe one chapter has to go to a colleague, or a single signed page to an administration. Splitting the PDF lets you send exactly what is needed and keeps the file small.
Split PDFExtract pages step by step
- Open the Split PDF tool and drop your file into the upload area. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
- Keep the Extract Pages mode and click the pages you want, or type them, for example 1,3,5-8.
- Click Split PDF.
- Download the new PDF containing only those pages.
Three ways to split
Extract Pages builds one new PDF from the pages you pick. This is the mode to use when you want part of a document.
Split Each Page saves every page as a separate PDF and gives you all of them in a zip file.
Custom Ranges cuts the document into several parts in one go. Separate the ranges with a semicolon: 1-3;4-6;7-10 gives three files.
Removing a few pages instead
If you want everything except two or three pages, it is quicker to do the opposite: open Delete Pages, click the pages to remove and download the rest.
Free, no sign-up and no watermark. Your file is processed in memory and never stored.

Do the extracted pages lose quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are.
Is the new file smaller?
Yes. It contains only the pages you kept, so its size drops accordingly.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
